My baby is 9!!!

Happy Birthday Cole!  How can you be 9 years old?
Cole is such a sweet boy and works so hard each day.
You are a joy to have in our family and make each one of us better.
Cole asked for a "Bowhead" Whale cake.  Thankfully, he approved of my attempt.

Cole had a Monsters University pool party with his friends.

Missy girl is now a full time swimmer!
Graduated from floaties and won't let me put them back on her :/

This part is always a little crazy for Cole, but he handled it well.
Getting a little help from Caroline.

 Lots of good friends...

On Cole's official Birthday we went to see Monsters University.

Cole had to take this picture so I could lift Carter up.
It only took about 15 tries.
Eating a Birthday dinner at Jason's Deli...Cole's favorite.

Let the games end...

As much as we love watching our kids play sports it is so nice to have a break from them.  Here are some pics of the boys enjoying their last game or session of their favorite sports.
Carter has come a long way athletically this year.  He is getting more coordinated and agile which help his fast feet.  Cole is riding independently during much of his session with Pooh Bear.  He can steer and trot and has a lot of core strength riding in 2 point position.

End of School Year...

What a fast year we had.  Caroline loved going 1 day a week to preschool and is looking forward to 2 days next year.  Carter finished up Kindergarten and is looking forward to being a big 1st grader.  Cole is moving on to 3rd grade (gulp).  He was recognized at his end of year assembly for getting all A's and B's this year.  Good work buddy.

This is Carter's certificate saying he passed Kindergarten...phew ;)

Funny thing in the assembly....they usually recognize the kids that didn't miss any days of school and there were no kids in the 5 Kindergarten classes that had perfect attendance.  The one kid up for the award missed that very day.  Must have been a rough year.

Cole is 3rd from the right in the picture above.
Here he is with his sweet, wonderful teacher.

Cole's favorite project in school!  He loves whales.

Visitors!!!

Grandma and Papa Howard came to visit us the last week of school!  We stayed busy swimming and going to lots of end of school year activities.  I'm sure Grandma and Papa had a good nap on the plane home.  We love you and hope you come again very soon!

Bringing Dex Home

Time has past so quickly since we brought Dexter home.  He is such a sweet dog and the kids are loving him.  He is growing so fast...I'm hoping at 4 months he is pretty much full grown ;)
