pArtY LiKE a SuPEr HeRo!

Cole had his friend party last Saturday.  The theme was "Super Hero Training Camp" . . . an idea I got from my friends Alisa and Meghan.  They started off playing "pin the spider on SpiderMan," then they went through an obstacle course, followed by a water balloon target throw.  The best part was when Preston was the evil villain--sporting a black fro, cape and mask--and came running into the backyard to steal the kids' candy.  They squirted him with water guns and threw water balloons at him.  I wish I had a good still picture of it (I was laughing too hard to get the camera), but Preston was able to pull a couple sitll shots off of our video camera.  The kids were half-terrified and half-loving it.  It made the whole party worthwhile.  Preston is such a good sport...and pretty cute in a fro.

Playing heavy, heavy hang over with the presents.  I loved this when I was little.

Here are some of the kids wearing their capes.

Cole turned 4 on July 8th.  It is so hard to believe that he is getting so big.  He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so he got a Mickey Mouse cake or at least an attempt at one :)  I feel so lucky to have such a sweet little boy for my son.

(ps: Katie & Kim-I finally finished my banner, thanks for the idea :)

4th oF JuLy!

Here are our 4th pictures finally!  Luckily they handed out water bottles and icee's at the parade or else we would have melted. The boys loved it and got more candy then at Halloween.
