sPrINg fORwaRd

The last few months have gone by so fast. It has been a whirlwind of soccer games, horseback riding, Birthdays, Spring Break, for Caroline..driving endlessly to pick someone up or drop someone off, and basically keeping everyone alive and well :)
Here are a few pics of the happenings...

The last 3 years we have attended a special event called, "For the Love of Kids". It is a Saturday event at a huge ranch for families with special needs kids. We love going and appreciate all the helping hands that make it possible.

Carter horseback riding
Cole riding
Caroline's favorite activity
...blowing bubbles and getting her wand caught in peoples hair.
face painting
This is Carter's highlight of the event...Batman. This is all the evidence he needs that Batman is REAL and that he WILL be a super hero when he grows up, after he is a Dad of course.
My Birthday party...watch what Carter teaches Caroline
gotta love older brothers!
Kitchen update!!!
Ok, so this is the only picture I have of our old countertops and backsplash.
Basically, black laminate with white and black squares for backsplash.
New and improved...
Next up...Kitchen lighting :) Gotta lose the cafeteria lights.
The boys had a sneaky little leprechaun visit them on St. Patty's Day.
He left them a scavenger hunt around the house and in the backyard to find the gold and treasure.
Who needs green pancakes when you can have Lucky Charms?
Presidents Day at Carter's pre-school.
He felt super special that he got to hold the poster
...we won't tell him that he has a big American bow tied around his neck.

Goodbye Spring Break and Florida and Grandma and Papa and Lucy...

Grandma and Papa Bernhisel recently got called to serve as Mission Presidents in Thailand. They will be leaving in June. So for our Spring Break this year we went to Florida to have one last hoorah before they leave.

Last photo op with Lucy. Poor girl is getting old and won't be making the trip to Thailand :(
Anna Maria Island...our favorite beach spot in Tampa.
Such a cute little bottom. And loved wearing goggles while 10 feet from the water...safety first.
Nice sand castle boys!
One of the boys' favorite things to do is ride bikes...especially down the steep driveway.

I guess it was Caroline's too.
Cousin love...Does this look like an engagement photo?
Busch Gardens..
Caroline, Preston, Carter and Cole take the plunge.

We were so lucky that hardly anyone was there that day.
We would basically walk onto the rides, get off and walk right back on.
Loved the swings.
The boys are getting too big for some rides so they would wait for missy girl.

Caroline loved the Elmo show...but wasn't too sure about seeing them close up.
Thanks Cole for showing her how it is done.
